Born in 1964, Sue started painting at a young age and began selling her work before completing school. She has exhibited and sold her art at festivals, markets, shopping centers, and galleries mainly throughout eastern Australia. Sue also takes commissions, producing murals and painting on cross-cut saws, gum leaves, and a variety of other surfaces. After moving to Blackbutt, QLD, she has gained new inspiration from her surroundings.
